Rebecca Leet's book, Message Matters: Succeeding at the Crossroads of Mission and Market is the first book to explain what strategic messages are, why they are important, and how to create them. It introduces the action connection framework, a simple yet strategic process for matching an organization's goals with what drives its target audiences to take action.

Ms. Leet is also the author of more than 20 published articles on nonprofit management and marketing. She was the founding editor of Strategic Governance for Nonprofit Executives and Boards.
